A Sunday tradition
For decades, Japanese families watched adaptations of famous novels on Sunday evenings, made with great care by Nippon Animation.
Where to start
A Dog of Flanders, 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother and Princess Sarah are three of the most loved.
Adventure
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Swiss Family Robinson: Flone of the Mysterious Island bring lighter adventure.
